Can you defend earth from total alien annihilation?

Space Invaders with a twist - you can even play local 2 player.

Left and right arrows and K or numpad0 to fire for P1

A and D and F or Tab to fire for P2 (Hold 2 to join P2)

Only through careful balance of defending the earth and attack runs on the shield ships can you succeed. Timing your use of power ups and strategising a plan can give you an edge as well a second player for more advanced tactics.

When hit you scale up till you hit critical mass, killing 5 enemies can help you repair and scale back down your ship.

How we use the theme:

We implement the SCALE theme by allowing two players, but more importantly, we incorporate the theme when the spaceship is hit, causing it to enlarge. Additionally, when 5 aliens are defeated, the spaceship shrinks.
